Erith is well-served by road, buses and rail. There is also plenty of parking in Erith town centre, including free short term parking.


The M25 London orbital motorway is less than 15 minutes’ drive from Erith, as is the A2. The M20 is about 20 minutes away. There are good local roads to Plumstead/Woolwich, Bexleyheath and Dartford.


Erith is served by the following bus routes: 99, 229, 428, 469, B12 and N89. Bus map.


London Bridge is a 35 minute journey from Erith. Southeastern Trains also operate services to the London terminal stations: Charing Cross and Cannon Street. Trains also run to Dartford.

Erith station is 5 minutes’ walk from Erith town centre and the river. The 229 bus goes from the station to Northumberland Heath.


There are 147 spaces at the Riverside Shopping Centre Car Park. There is parking at Morrisons supermarket. In Northumberland Heath, there are 113 spaces, including 2 disabled bays, in Mill Road Car Park.
